Rovinj
Affectionately called the "Blue Pearl of the Adriatic" is a city
located on the west coast of Istria. This is a place of romance and
art, the place once was part of the Venetian Republic more than 500
years. The old town is situated on a high peninsula surrounded by
terakottom roofed Venetian houses that rises up to the church of
St. Eufemija. The church dates from the 18th century. Cramped
appearance of the peninsula has greatly influenced the appearance
of the town characterized by narrow paved streets, tall houses and
small squares. With a large marina, which is a real treat for all
lovers of nautical tourism in Rovinj boasts spacious and luxurious
hotel - very nice beaches. In Rovinj Archipelago there are 22
islets among which St. Andrija and St. Catherina are the biggest
and most beautiful. Particularly valuable and protected parts of
nature, special reserves in the area of Rovinj are: islands and
mainland from the island of St. Ivan to "Dvije sestrice", sea and
underwater of the Lim Fjord, park forest "Punta Corrente", marsh
Palud, Romuald's cave on the southern side Lim fjord and stone

Pula
The largest city in Istria County located in the southwest of
the peninsula in a well protected bay. Pula is, like other cities
in the region, known for its mild Mediterranean climate, unspoilt
nature and a calm and clear waters. With a long tradition of
fishing, wine making, tourism and shipbuilding Pula is both a
transit port. The city, both in the region and throughout the
world, famous for its ancient Roman buildings. The most famous
building is certainly a first-century amphitheater, according to
its size, the sixth in the world, popularly called the Arena. In
addition to being under UNESCO protection, and cultural attractions
Arena is now the center of summer cultural events, from theater
performances and concerts and up event.
